"The kind of neighbourhood restaurant every neighbourhood wishes it had — unfussy, generous, and quietly excellent."

— The City Table, dining review

Illustrative press for this portfolio demo — The Corner Table is a fictional restaurant.

Our story

A table on the corner, kept warm since 2014

The Corner Table started as a twelve-seat room with one oven and a chalkboard menu. Ten years later the room is bigger, but the idea hasn't changed: cook what's in season, pour wine we'd drink ourselves, and know our regulars by name.

Most of what we serve is sourced within an hour of the restaurant — from growers and makers we've worked with for years.

Private dining & events

The whole room, or just the corner of it

From a long table of ten to buying out the room for the evening, we host birthdays, launches and the kind of dinners people talk about for months. Our chef builds a set menu around what's in season and what you're celebrating.

  • Semi-private table for up to 14
  • Full buy-out for up to 40, seated
  • Bespoke set menus & wine pairings
  • Gift cards for any amount, any occasion

Walk-ins always welcome at the bar. For the dining room, book ahead — especially weekends.

Demo reservation — nothing is sent; on a live restaurant site this would reach the host stand.

Before you come

Good to know

Do you take walk-ins?

Always — the whole bar is kept for walk-ins, and we'll seat you the moment a spot opens. For the dining room, especially Friday and Saturday, we'd book ahead if we were you.

Can you handle allergies and dietary needs?

Yes, and gladly. Tell us when you book or when you arrive — the kitchen adapts most dishes, and there's always a proper vegetarian option, not an afterthought. Coeliac, nut, dairy: just let us know.

Are children welcome?

Very. We're a neighbourhood place — highchairs, smaller portions and patient staff included. Earlier sittings tend to suit families best.

Is there a corkage or cake fee?

Bring a special bottle and corkage is £15. Celebrating? Bring your own cake, no charge — we'll plate it and bring candles if you give us the nod.

How do I book a private event?

Use the reservation form and mention the occasion, or email us directly — we'll send over set-menu options and hold your date. Buy-outs for up to 40 seated are welcome.
